Ladies Weekend Out is heading back to beautiful San Diego this February! Ladies Weekend Out and our good friends Rab Equipment, Têra Kaia, and Pure Project Brewing are throwing another awesome Ladies Weekend Out event in San Diego, running February 9th to the 11th! Twelve lucky ladies will have the opportunity to climb some of San Diego’s most coveted rock climbing crags with our professionally trained AMGA guides. Both days will be packed with fun climbing for all abilities, technical clinics introducing you to outdoor climbing, camaraderie, community and fun for all!

Our Ladies Weekend Out events have become the go-to, all female climbing events to attend! The smaller group size sets the stage for a more intimate weekend where participants get to know one-another and receive more personalized instruction. The relationships formed from our LWO events is what makes these weekends so special and such a success! We hope to see you out there, it's going to be another memorable weekend!

    2 guided days of outdoor rock climbing with our all female, professionally trained AMGA guide team

    Instructional clinics both days, geared towards climbing on your own outdoors

    Social meetup Friday and Saturday night at Pure Project Brewing

    Any personal climbing equipment for the weekend including a harness, helmet and climbing shoes.

  • FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 9TH

    We will be starting our night off at Pure Project Brewing in Miramar! We’ll meet at Pure Project at 6PM to get to know each other before the weekend. Here we’ll distribute your Tera Kaia Basewear, go over logistics and answer any questions you may have, all while enjoying a craft beers, courtesy of Pure Project Brewing! Pure Project Miramar has food trucks during the weekend, you can follow their Instagram for updates on what cuisine to expect!

    SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH

    Our first day of rock climbing will take place at Mission Gorge in San Diego! Our day will be filled with climbing, learning general movement and techniques on the rock, with opportunities to go over a variety of skills dependent on the groups interest. Ask our professionally trained AMGA Guides any question you may have to grow as a climber.

    SATURDAY NIGHT

    After our day of climbing at Mission Gorge we’ll head over to Pure Project Brewing in North Park and indulge in some of the finest craft beers San Diego has to offer! Pure Project will provide a free drink for all participants. Dinner is not included in the cost of the weekend but there are plenty of amazing restaurants to choose from in the surrounding area..

    SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11TH

    Our second day out rock climbing will be at Mount Woodson in San Diego! Mount Woodson is known for it’s monzonite granite boulders, which resemble mini walls of the great Yosemite National Park. This day, we will be focusing skills around traditional and crack climbing styles, with clinics focused around taping hangs, jamming cracks and trusting the process!. We'll end the day around 2:00 pm, pack up and head home.

  • All guests will be responsible for their own meals for the duration of the event. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
