Learn the essentials of creating secure climbing anchors using traditional and modern techniques while honing in skills to clean an anchor by rappelling and lowering off a climb during our Building and Cleaning Anchors clinic. This clinic is ideal for those wishing to take their climbing skills outside, growing their understanding for building and taking down climbing anchors.

The skills clinics offered are designed to equip you with the tools needed for any adventure ahead. Each weekend will run on Saturday and Sunday, with a 4:1 climber-to-guide ratio to ensure personalized attention. While accommodations aren't included, we have a range of excellent recommendations for camping or glamping around Bishop to suit your preferences.

These courses are progression courses, where they build off each other with the goal to create a solid foundational skill set for any rock climbing adventure ahead.

Each clinic is led by AMGA-trained guides and designed to support climbers of all levels. Join us for a weekend of skill-building, personalized instruction, and connection with a community of like-minded women.

    2 guided days of outdoor rock climbing with our all female, professionally trained AMGA guide team

    Instructional clinics both days, geared towards self rescue in climbing.

  • Both Saturday and Sunday will run from 8 AM to 4 PM, focusing on developing a variety of Anchors and Rappelling skills specific to rock climbing.

    Each Building and Cleaning Anchors Weekend is tailored to accommodate the different experience levels of participants, with skills covered including (but not limited to):

    • Knots and hitches

    • Anchor building

    • How to assess and manage anchors

    • Rappelling and Lowering off a climb - the importance of knowing and understanding both when and how to apply these different skills

    • Sport vs. Trad Anchors

    This dynamic, hands-on weekend will equip you with the confidence and skills to handle challenging situations on the wall.

  • Each skills clinic must have a minimum of 2 participants to run.

    All guests will be responsible for their own meals for the duration of the event. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. All guests will also be responsible for their own accommodations for the weekend and transportation to and from the climbing venues.

    All guest are responsible for their own accommodations for the weekend. We are happy to provide resources to help you find an accommodation that fits your comfort from camping, clamping and hotel stays.

  • For the Anchors and Rappelling clinic, we ask for all participants to have a general understanding of

    • Top Rope Belaying

    • Tying in as a climber

    • General Movement over rock

    • *Knowledge of other knots and hitches is a bonus, but not a requirement - we will be going over :
