Over the past three years, the Ladies Weekend Out (LWO) team has cultivated a strong partnership with Rab, offering participants high-quality demo gear tailored to the different activities we offer during each of our Ladies Weekend Out events. This year, we’re thrilled to announce an exciting evolution in our partnership: Rab Equipment is sponsoring scholarships for all of our Ladies Weekend Out events!
We’re excited to offer two full scholarships for our upcoming Mental Approach to Climbing Clinic — happening July 10–13 in Mammoth Lakes, CA!
This clinic is designed to support climbers who are ready to deepen their mental game — whether that means stepping into lead climbing, addressing fear of falling, or building confidence for the adventures ahead. We'll blend technical practice with mindset tools to help you climb with more intention and trust.

Ladies Weekend Out is partnering with Rab to provide scholarships for our upcoming Mental Approach to Climbing Clinic — happening July 10–13 in Mammoth Lakes, CA!
With this opportunity, we aim to create more accessibility to our programs for those in need of financial help. We understand that finances can be challenging when getting into the world of outdoor recreation, and with help from our friends at Rab. All applicants must apply through our scholarship application, which will be reviewed by our Guide team and Partners.

The Ladies Weekend Out Scholarship Program, in partnership with Rab, is designed to empower women and individuals in need of financial assistance to access outdoor recreation programs. Our goal is to create a more inclusive outdoor community by reducing financial barriers and equipping participants with the skills and confidence needed to embark on their adventures.

The Ladies Weekend Out Scholarship program is open to individuals who identify as female or non-binary, demonstrate financial assistance and have a passion for leaning outdoor skills, eager to solidify their skills for any adventure ahead.

To be considered for a Scholarship all applicants must meet the below criteria:
Gender Identity: Applicants must identify as female, non-binary, or gender diverse. LWO celebrates and supports individuals across the spectrum of gender identity who are seeking to engage in outdoor recreation and education.
Financial Need: Demonstrate a clear need for financial assistance to participate in outdoor programs.
Passion for the Outdoors: Have a genuine interest in learning outdoor skills, building community, and embracing new adventures.

Complete the Application: Fill out the online scholarship application form by March 15th, 2025.
Submit Supporting Documents: Provide information with your application on financial need, personal goals, and outdoor interests.
Review Process: Applications will be reviewed by the LWO Guide Team and program partners to ensure fair selection.
Notification: Applicants will be informed of their scholarship status on February 28th 2025.
